Imagine what it is like to be Trunks, living in a world of darkness ever since he was born, losing every one he loves, living in a world of pain and killing. The son of Bulma and Vegeta. About one year after he is born, his father gets killed by the androids. All of his friends gets killed. He is trained by Gohan, which was the only friend he had left. But shortly after, the androids kill Gohan, leaving only Trunks and Bulma to protect the world. Trunks reaches the Super Saiyan level when found the dead body of his master laying on the ground. He travels to the past to give Goku the antidote for the heart virus and stays there to help the Z-Fighters defeat the threat of Cell. He eventually goes back to the future after the Cell Game and destroys both of the androids, finally he can live in a peaceful world.
